My name is Megan Woodard. I graduated from Robinson High School, in 2006. I then preceded to attend Lincoln Trail College and earned my Associate degree. My alma mater is Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where I received my Bachelor of Science in Arts in 2011. I have an Elementary Education degree with endorsements in middle school English, science, and social studies. I have worked with all grade levels as a substitute teacher in the Crawford, Cumberland, and districts near Bloomington, IL. I also have experience as an aide with pre-kindergarten, 4th grade, and 8th grade students.
I have always dreamed of being a teacher. There has never been any other "job" I wanted to pursue. I am very empathetic to students who struggle with learning; both my siblings had issues with school. As long as they are willing to put in the time and effort I will spend any amount of time assisting in their educational needs.
I am available from 7:30 a.m. till the start of school and then from 3:00 p.m. till at least 3:30 p.m.. Typically you can find me at school till around 4 or 5. I am very prompt replying to e-mails; please feel free to message me at any time (day or night).
